Carol's Cheesey Cocktail Crackers

Mom says: "Don’t make them too big dear they should be a little smaller. Top them with mango habanero jelly. Or any jelly you wish. The mango is a little milder than some of the jellies. I always get a request for them for any event we are invited to. Can be served fresh out of the oven or from the fridge the next day. Also freeze well. Love mom"

1 cup Butter,

1- 8 oz. Package Imperial Cheese,

1/8 to 1/4 Cayenne Pepper or Tabasco,

1/4 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce,

1 1/2 cups Flour,

4 cups Rice Krispies,

Dash Salt.

Soften butter & cheese and cream together.

Add salt, cayenne & worcestershire. Stir in flour & Rice Krispies.

Mix Well. Shape into balls and press down with a fork which has been dipped in cold water. You can also form into logs, chill and cut into slices.

Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. This recipe does NOT double well.
