Recipe of the Month

1 ¾ cup flour
¾ cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
¾ cup almonds
2 eggs
1 tbsp orange rind
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond extract
2 tsp baking powder

Recipe Method
Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, orange rind, vanilla and almond extract
Mix flour and baking powder together
Add flour mixture to creamed ingredients
Add almonds
Shape into 2 logs
Place on a buttered cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 25 minutes
Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes
Cut into 1”bars and return to oven for 20 minutes
Let cool and enjoy

Biscotti can be frozen for future enjoyment!
