Can't Stand The Wait? Let's Talk About Sales Cycles
December 4th 2017
Sales Cycle, or expected time to sell, varies widely based on type of property and market factors.
Here are some things to note.
As price goes up audience often narrows for these factors:
1 bedroom above grade
1 full bathroom
high traffic location
no bathtub in house
no attached garage
unusual floor plan
lack of privacy
Any one of these things along may not be a deal breaker if the property has other strengths and features that compensate but it will likely be a smaller audience that recognizes the features as outweighing the challenge. The smaller the audience the longer the sale cycle may be. An experienced Realtor® should be able to help you understand what Sales Cycle is realistic even if the property is priced fairly and the market is active.
